James Graham

Founder and editor, CalculatorHub. The person who checks the numbers.

I am a data and analytics professional and a builder of free tools, and I have spent the better part of two decades making practical knowledge easier to reach. My university background pairs Human Geography and Social Anthropology with mathematics and statistics: the numbers keep the tools honest, and the social science is a constant reminder that behind every calculation is a real person making a real decision.

Over fifteen years I have built close to two hundred free resource websites, and together they have reached nearly 20 million people. At one point that portfolio ranked among the top ten web publishers in my market, achieved not through spending but through relentless attention to what people actually needed. CalculatorHub brings that work together under one roof, held to one standard.

My role at CalculatorHub

I set the editorial standard and the sourcing discipline, and I am the named editor on every tool. That byline is a commitment, not decoration: it means the method is documented, the figures trace to an official government, standards-body or peer-reviewed source, and each tool carries the date it was last verified. Where a figure cannot be sourced, it ships as a clearly-labelled, user-editable input rather than a guess.

The review line on our pages reads: "Reviewed by the CalculatorHub team, edited by James Graham." Read how we work in our methodology and editorial standards, and the fuller story on the About page.
