These Terms govern your use of calculatorhub.com (the “Site”), operated by Crucible Investments Limited (“we”, “us”). By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
1. What the Site is - information, not advice
The Site provides general-purpose calculators and reference information. Results are informational estimates generated from published formulae and official public sources. They are not financial, tax, legal, investment, accounting, engineering or medical advice, and not a recommendation to take or refrain from any action. Always verify with the relevant authority or a qualified professional before acting. See the Disclaimer.
2. No professional relationship
Using the Site creates no advisory, fiduciary, or professional relationship. We are not a financial adviser, broker, tax agent, lawyer, or healthcare provider, and we do not provide regulated services.
3. Accuracy and “as is”
We work to keep figures correct and current (each figure cites its source and shows a review date), but laws and rates change and errors can occur. The Site and all content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law, including any implied warranties of accuracy, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
4. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for how you use results. Do not use the Site unlawfully, attempt to disrupt or scrape it at scale, or misrepresent its output as professional advice.
5. Intellectual property
The Site, its design, text, and tools are owned by us or our licensors. Figures are sourced from official/government publications and remain subject to their terms. You may use the Site for personal, non-commercial reference.
6. Privacy and no data storage
We do not store the values you enter (calculations run in your browser). Our handling of cookies, ads, analytics and server logs is in the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
7. Third-party ads and links
The Site may show third-party ads (Google AdSense) and may link to third-party sites. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, products, or practices.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage (including indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, lost profits, or loss arising from reliance on any result) arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to NZ$100 or the minimum permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded (including certain consumer guarantees).
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the Site or breach of these Terms.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms; the “Last updated” date shows the current version. Continued use means acceptance.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and, except as set out in section 12, the courts of New Zealand have non-exclusive jurisdiction. Mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence are unaffected.
12. United States users - binding arbitration and class-action waiver
If you are a resident of the United States, the following applies to the extent permitted by law. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the Site or these Terms shall be resolved by final and binding individual arbitration (administered by a recognised arbitral body under its consumer rules), not in court, and you and we waive any right to a jury trial and to participate in a class, collective, or representative action. You may opt out of this section by emailing contact@calculatorhub.com within 30 days of first use. This section does not prevent either party from seeking small-claims relief or injunctive relief for intellectual-property misuse. If any part of this section is unenforceable, the remainder stands; if the class-waiver is unenforceable, this entire section 12 is void.
