Corrections Policy

Accuracy is the core of CalculatorHub. Every published figure is traced to an official government or authority source and carries a visible last-verified date. When something is wrong, we want to fix it quickly and openly.
How to report an error
Email contact@calculatorhub.com with:
- the page URL,
- the figure or result you believe is wrong, and
- the correct value and its official source, if you have it.
How we verify
We check every reported figure against the primary official source for that jurisdiction (the relevant government department, tax authority, statistical agency or statute), never a third-party website. If we cannot confirm a value against an official source, we do not present it as fact: it is shown as a clearly-labelled, user-editable input instead.
How we fix and disclose
When we confirm an error we:
- correct the figure or formula in our sourced data,
- update the page’s last-verified date, and
- record material corrections in our change log.
Results come from deterministic, tested formulas built from the official rule, so a corrected figure or rule flows through to every page that uses it.
Proactive review
We do not wait for reports. Figures are re-checked on a schedule tied to when each source changes (annual tax-year updates, mid-year benefit indexing, or on legislation), described in our Methodology, and an automated monitor flags any figure that is due for re-verification.
