Cookie Policy
Last updated: 10 July 2026
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device to make it work, to remember your choices, and to measure or fund the service. This page explains the cookies and similar technologies on calculatorhub.com and how you control them. It supplements the Privacy Policy.
We store nothing you calculate
The tools run in your browser; your inputs are never stored. The only cookies are for the Site to work, to show ads, and to measure usage.
Categories of cookies
| Category | Purpose | Who sets it | Typical duration | Consent |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Site security, load balancing, and remembering your cookie choice so the banner does not reappear | CalculatorHub and Google’s consent platform | Session to about 13 months | No consent needed |
| Analytics (Google Analytics 4, tag G-G7MYJTEQ00) | Aggregate, non-identifying measurement of how the site is used | Session to about 2 years (for example the _ga cookie) | Consent required where applicable | |
| Advertising (Google AdSense and partners) | Show ads, cap how often you see them, report performance, and prevent fraud; personalised ads only where you have consented | Google and its advertising partners | About 13 months in the EEA and UK, up to about 2 years elsewhere | Consent required where applicable |
Even non-personalised ads set cookies (frequency capping, reporting, fraud), so consent to those cookies is required in countries applying the EU ePrivacy rules.
How consent works by region
- EEA, UK, Switzerland: non-essential cookies load only after you opt in. We use a Google-certified Consent Management Platform (the Google AdSense “European regulations” consent message) together with Google Consent Mode, so your choice is applied across Google Analytics, Google AdSense and Google Tag Manager. The banner lets you Accept all or Reject all with equal prominence, and set granular choices; no advertising or analytics cookie fires before consent. Personalised advertising runs only where you have given consent; if you decline, any ads shown are non-personalised or contextual. We have appointed EU and UK Article 27 representatives (see the GDPR page).
- United States: cookies may load by default, but you can opt out of sale/sharing/targeted advertising via our Do Not Sell or Share link, and we honour Global Privacy Control (GPC).
- Elsewhere: we show the banner and obtain consent where local law requires; otherwise cookies operate on a notice basis.
Managing your choices
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, no analytics or advertising cookie is set until you accept through Google’s consent message, and you can reopen that message whenever you like:
If the button does nothing, Google’s consent message is not being shown in your region (for example, outside the EEA, UK and Switzerland, where consent is not required). You can still use the controls below at any time.
- Browser controls: block or delete cookies (this may affect ads and measurement, but not the calculators).
- Opt out of personalised ads: https://adssettings.google.com , https://www.aboutads.info/choices , https://www.youronlinechoices.eu .
Third parties
Google (AdSense, Analytics) and Google’s advertising partners set cookies under their own policies: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and https://policies.google.com/privacy .
A full, current cookie inventory (name, provider, purpose, duration) is maintained and available via the Cookie settings panel.
