Advertising Policy
Last updated: 16 July 2026
CalculatorHub is free to use. We fund the site with advertising so that every calculator, source and worked example stays free and open.
Who serves our ads
We may use Google AdSense and other advertising services. Advertising is not currently enabled on the Site. Where advertising is enabled, advertisements will be clearly distinguished from calculator content and labelled as advertising. Our ads.txt file authorises Google as a direct seller of our ad inventory; its presence does not mean advertisements are currently being served. We do not sell ad space directly to other networks.
Editorial independence
Advertising never influences our calculators. Formulas, figures, sources and review dates are set only from official government and authority publications, never by an advertiser. No advertiser can pay to change a result, a ranking or a recommendation, and we do not publish sponsored calculators or advertiser-written content.
Consent and privacy
- Visitors in the EU, UK and Switzerland are shown a Google-certified consent message before any personalised advertising, and Google Consent Mode v2 withholds ad-personalisation signals until consent is given.
- Visitors in US states with opt-out rights can exercise them via Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information; we honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal.
- See our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy for what is collected and how.
Ad placement
Ads appear in clearly-bounded, labelled slots. They do not sit inside a calculator’s inputs or results, obstruct the main content, or imitate a calculation result, and we do not use interstitials or pop-ups that block the page.
