Golden ratio formula
phi = (1 + sqrt(5)) / 2 = 1.6180339887...
larger = dimension * phi
smaller = dimension / phi
Multiplying by phi gives the larger paired length; dividing gives the smaller. Either pairing forms a golden rectangle with the dimension you entered.
Worked example
